Note: VK Dadizele, founded in 1975, took on the name SK Roeselare-Daisel in 2021, moving their first team football to Roeselare's Stadion Schiervelde, which had become vacant as a result of KSV Roeselare's demise in the fall of 2020. In 2023, with the merger being undone, a new club saw the daylight in Dadizele, FC Dadizele Sport (registration number 9795), which started its life at the bottom of West Flanders' Provincial League pyramid.

I absolutely love all of these images on your blog. The old grounds, the grass fields, the people and the stands - and the light... A bit of a mix between books like "Hollandse Velden", "Football in our time", "Groundtastic" and "Football grounds" (and many more).
ReplyDeleteDon't understand though how you have been able to visit so many grounds, looks like a day job.
Anyway, very inspiring so keep up the great work.
Best, Eric (NL)
Thanks for your comment, Eric. During the play-offs, this becomes some sort of a daytime job. Case of trying to live two or three lives simultaneously :)
