Sportpark De Omloop West, Rhoon (SV Rhoon, formerly vv Rhoon)
Netherlands, province: South Holland = Zuid-Holland
13 V 2017 / vv Rhoon - vv GOZ 7-0 / District West II, Saturday League 3D (= NL level 8)
Note 1 - vv Rhoon (WCR), founded in 1946, settled at Terrein aan de Molendijk before moving on to Terrein aan de Zwaluwenlaan for a short spell (1972-73, with youth teams remaining at Molendijk during this period), eventually settling at Sportpark De Omloop, where its main pitch is situated to the west of the facilities of village rivals RKSV WCR, in mid-1973 (one year later than WCR, which had settled at the same location in August 1972). The clubhouse was officially inaugurated in April 1974. In 2005, a covered stand was added to the set-up at Sportpark De Omloop West. In 2026, a merger was concluded between both clubs, resulting in the foundation of SV Rhoon. First team football moved to the main pitch of vv Rhoon; however, a new park is expected to be laid out close by in the second half of the 2020s, with Sportpark De Omloop having to make way for housing.
