Timeline

• 1995 / Municipal authorities of the town of Wavre in Walloon Brabant purchase a plot of land of 4 hectares at Rue Charles Jaumotte in the village of Limal, to the southwest of the town proper. The area had previously seen use as a military training camp. 
• 2001 / On June 23rd, 2001, after several years of building works, a new municipal sports complex, the Centre Sportif de Limal, is officially inaugurated at Rue Charles Jaumotte. The facilities include an athletics tracks, an indoor sports hall, and two football pitches. The two pitches are allowed to be used by local provincial league club R Wavre Limal, which only has one pitch at its disposal, the Stade du Martineau. From this time on, the Centre Sportif de Limal becomes the club’s ground for training sessions and lower team football.
• 2020 / With R Wavre Limal abandoning its Stade du Martineau in favour of the Stade Justin Peeters in Wavre proper and its two remaining side-pitches (terrain 4 and terrain 5), the Centre Sportif de Limal remains in use for training sessions and the occasional match. At the behest of a permit given by municipal authorities, the club has had to share the facilities in Limal with the Académie Emilio Ferrera (often referred to as the EF Academy), a football academy founded in 2019, from 2020 onwards.
• 2022 / With the Stade Justin Peeters being abandoned by R Wavre Limal due to plans to turn the ground into a hockey stadium, the club moves its footballing activities to terrain 4 and terrain 5 of the same ground, with the Centre Sportif de Limal remaining in use for training sessions. Meanwhile, due to heating problems in the port-a-cabins alongside terrain 4, first team football of the club is temporarily moved to the Centre Sportif de Limal in the winter months of the 2022-23 season.
• 2026 / Following some renovations carried out at the Centre Sportif de Limal, the facilities were officially reinaugurated as MacaSport Village.
