Stade André Winson, Fosses-la-Ville (Racing FC Fosses, formerly RUS Fossoise & JS Fossoise)
Belgium, province: Namur = Namen
23 III 2018 / Racing FC Fosses - OC Nismes 7-2 / Namur, Provincial League 1 (= BE level 6)
Note: RUS Fossoise were founded in 1926, and played at a ground close to Fosses-la-Ville's train station until approximately 1961, upon which the current Stade André Winson was inaugurated. The new ground was named after a local benefactor who, after his own son had passed away, decided to give Fosses-la-Ville's youth something to cheer about - a new stadium. RUS Fossoise went into administration in 2001; after one year's pause, a new club was formed, JS Fossoise, which was renamed Racing FC Fosses in 2010. In 2018, Racing FC Fosses concluded a merger with UR Namur, forming Union Namur Fosses-la-Ville, usually abbreviated to Union Namur F-L-V; and in 2020, the reference to Fosses was dropped from the club name altogether. Since the merger, first team football has been played at Namur's Stade Communal des Bas-Prés, whilst the ground in Fosses-la-Ville remained in use for lower team football and training purposes.
