Note: Keijenborg's football club was founded in 1917 and given the Latin name Utile Dulci ("the usual with the pleasurable", abbreviated UD), but renamed SV (Sportvereniging) Keijenburgse Boys in 1934. In the first 32 years of the club's history, various grounds in and around Keijenborg were in use for home games, until finally, in 1949, the current park was inaugurated. Situated at Pastoor Thuisstraat, the opening ceremony was performed by none other than Theodorus Thuis himself, a popular figure in Keijenborg where he had been the local church's priest for forty years (1940-46).
