Timeline
  • 1941 / Foundation of a football club in Dinther, a village in North Brabant. The new club is given the name Rooms-Katholieke Sportvereniging (RKSV) Avesteyn – named after Kasteel Avestein, a chateau in Dinther which had been knocked down all the way back in 1808. RKSV Avesteyn joins the Brabant sub-association of the Netherlands’ FA, the so-called Brabantse Voetbalbond (BVB) – officially called Afdeling Brabant – settling on Terrein De Dieppoel.
  • ± 1946 / Moving away from Terrein De Dieppoel, RKSV Avesteyn settles on a new pitch laid out at Sint-Servatiusstraat.

  • ± 1962 / Moving away from Terrein Sint-Servatiusstraat, RKSV Avesteyn moves to a new ground laid out at Heilige Stokstraat. The ground, of which the entrance gate is later moved to Steen- & Stokstraat, is commonly referred to Sportpark Avesteyn.
  • ± 1981 / A covered stand is added to the set-up at Sportpark Avesteyn, half of the former covered stand opposite the main stand at Terrein Hescheweg, the ground of TOP in Oss. The other half of the construction is sold to RVV Rhelico from Rumpt.
