Complexe Sportif Saint-Julien "Wolves Academy", Bracquegnies (B ground of RAAL La Louvière, formerly B ground of RAA Louviéroise)

Belgium, province: Hainaut = Henegouwen

20 IX 2025 / RAAL La Louvière U23 - SB Stade Mouscronnois 1-4 / ACFF Amateur Division 3A (= BE level 5)

Timeline
  • ± 1982 / Inauguration of the Complexe Sportif Saint-Julien, a municipal sports ground in Bracquegnies (Strépy-Bracquegnies), consisting of two pitches used by various recreational clubs as well as the youth academy of RAA Louviéroise (registration number 93), the professional league club from nearby La Louvière. The clubhouse is to be found in the adjacent sports hall, into which a covered terrace has been built for spectators of matches on the main pitch of the ground.
  • 2009 / As RAA Louviéroise goes bankrupt, the club leaves the Complexe Saint-Julien. In the following years, the ground is only used by recreational football teams.
  • 2019 / RAAL La Louvière (registration number 94, taken over from Racing Charleroi-Couillet-Fleurus, the former RACS Couillet), the phoenix club of the former RAA Louviéroise, takes over the Complexe Saint-Julien, with the official inauguration of the new synthetic (main) pitch taking place on October 11th, 2019, with a gala match between veteran players of RAA Louviéroise and R Union Saint-Gilloise.
  • 2022 / After several new rounds of renovations, the new 'Wolves Academy' is inaugurated at Complexe Saint-Julien, with a three story clubhouse having replaced the former second pitch of the park, and two new synthetic pitches being added to the set-up. Moreover, there are also two smaller, fully covered pitches to allow for training sessions in more adverse weather conditions.
  • 2025 / As RAAL La Louvière wins promotion to the top flight of Belgian football (incidentally also moving into its newly-built stadium in La Louvière proper), its reserves' team is allowed into the regular league pyramid. RAAL La Louvière U23 is placed in ACFF Amateur Division 3, the fifth and lowest national league division, for the 2025-26 season.
