Sportpark Ter Schueren, Sint-Eloois-Winkel = Winkel-Saint-Eloi (K Sint-Eloois-Winkel Sport, formerly VC Sint-Eloois-Winkel Sport)
Belgium, province: West Flanders
14 X 2012 / K Sint-Eloois-Winkel Sport - OMS Ingelmunster 1-1 / National Division 4A (= BE level 4)
Note 1: VC Sint-Eloois Winkel, founded in 1940, joined Belgium's Football Association in 1946 as Sint-Eloois-Winkel Sport (colloquially abbreviated to 'Winkel Sport'). The original seated stand, mainly built in wood, was knocked down after the 2015/2016 season; it was replaced by a much bigger covered stand, which was inaugurated in January 2017. In the 2018/2019 season, due to the abysmal state of the pitch, Winkel Sport's first team played their football at Gullegem's ground, Poezelhoek. In the summer of 2019, a synthetic pitch was constructed to facilitate the club's return to their home soil.
Note 2: below, a compilation of photographs of two different visits: match visit, October 2012 (old main stand): pictures 1-15 / non-matchday visit, May 2019 (new main stand): pictures 16-19.
