Note - vv RES (Rjucht en Sljucht), founded in 1936, was the Roman Catholic football club in Bolsward. The club moved into the newly laid-out Sportpark Het Bolwerk Noord in 1966, abandoning its old pitch, Terrein 't Heechhout, in the Sint-Jozefbuurt neighbourhood. In 2015, vv RES allowed itself to be absorbed into SC Bolsward, a merger of vv CAB and CVV Bolswardia, concluded two years previously. First team football of SC Bolsward is played on the central pitch of Sportpark Het Bolwerk, formerly the main pitch of CVV Bolswardia.
