Stade Nicolas (I), Loyers (R Union Sportive Loyers - B pitch, formerly A pitch)
Belgium, province: Namur = Namen
27 IV 2012 / RUS Loyers - R Arquet FC 1-1 / Namur, Provincial Cup semi, second leg
Note 1: US Loyers, founded in 1949, settled down at this ground at Comognes de Loyers in 1973; it was named Stade Nicolas in honour of Mr Nicolas Sparmont, who financed the stabilisation of the pitch when the club acceded to Provincial League 1 for the first time in their history. In December 2016, the ground's B pitch had been turned into a 3G with an new clubhouse. From January 2017 onwards, RUS Loyers first team have played their home matches on this former B pitch.
Note 2: for the match I attended at this ground, a semi-final in Namur's Provincial Cup, local television provided a live broadcast with two commentators (cp. photo 8), no fewer than three camera operators and even half-time interviews, in this case with a set of twins (unfortunately I do not know their names), one playing for Loyers, the other for Arquet (cp. photo 9).
