Timeline
- 1930 / Foundation of Dinant Football Club (FC). Upon joining Belgium's Football Association, the club obtains matricule 1657. Dinant FC plays its football at Stade de la Citadelle from the outset.
- 1955 / Dinant FC obtains the royal epithet, thus becoming Royal Dinant Football Club (R Dinant FC or RFC Dinant).
- ±1965 / From some point onwards, probably in the 1960s, R Dinant FC have had the luxury of a training ground in Gemechenne. At some point, the main of the two pitches in Gemechenne was turned a quarter stroke, giving it its current position (if you can provide more clarity regarding the inauguration of this Stade Gemechenne and its change of outlay, please contact me).
- 1987 / Alain Laloux, a former youth player of R Dinant FC, passes away at the age of 22. Stade Gemechenne is renamed Stade Alain Laloux in his honour.
