22 II 2022 / FC Bergh - SV OBW (za) 5-0 / Achterhoek Cup R2

Note 1: In 1920, after two earlier football clubs in 's-Heerenberg had ceased to exist (BVC, Berghse Voetbalclub, and BVV, Berghse Voetbalvereniging), RKBVV saw the daylight, Rooms-Katholieke Berghse Voetbalvereniging. Six years later, the name was adapted and became "RKSC (Rooms-Katholieke Sportcentrale) 's-Heerenberg". Immediately after World War II, the decision was taken upon to name the club after Marinus van Rooijen (1897-1942), a local chaplain who had been instrumental in promoting football in 's-Heerenberg prior to the war - and who, along with his parish's priest, Fr. Galama, was arrested by the German occupiers in 1941 for speaking out against the Nazis. Both men perished in the Dachau Concentration Camp. M.v.R. played their first team football at Café De Sportvriend's pitch from 1945 onwards. In 1961, as those premises had to make way for housing, the club moved to Sportpark De Boshoek, which already existed as a pitch for lower team football and training purposes. The current clubhouse was inaugurated in 1975. In 2019, MvR concluded a merger with VVL (Voetbalvereniging Lengel) and vv Stokkum, forming Fusieclub Bergh. All activities moved to Sportpark De Boshoek, aptly renamed Sportpark Marinus van Rooijen to continue honouring the memory of the chaplain. Shortly after the merger, VVL's Sportpark 't Veen in Lengel and vv Stokkum's Sportpark 't Broek were bulldozed down.
