BELGIUM: R Lindbergh Club Givry

Stade Félicien Lefèvre, Givry (Hainaut) (R Lindbergh Club Givry)

Belgium, province: Hainaut = Henegouwen

15 VIII 2019 / RLC Givry - FC Péronnes 4-2 / Pre-season friendly

Note: Charles Lindbergh was an American aviator who made the first-ever solo non-stop transatlantic flight, from New York to Paris, in May 1927. In a quirky move, when the Givry football club saw the daylight two months later, the founders decided to name it after the world-famous pilot: hence, Lindbergh Club Givry. RLC Givry should not be confused with their near-namesakes RUS Givry from a village with the same name in Belgian Luxembourg.
