Belgium, province: Hainaut = Henegouwen

Timeline
  • 1969 / Foundation of Snef Football Club (FC). Upon joining Belgium's FA, the club, which first fielded a first team for the 1970-71 season, obtains matricule 7315.
  • ±1979 / Snef FC must have moved to the two pitches at Stade du Maffle around 1979 (anyone able to provide the exact year is more than welcome to contact me).
  • 2000 / Snef FC changes its name to become Association Sportive (AS) Snef-Tyber.
  • 2010 / A synthetic surface is installed on the second pitch of the ground (Stade du Maffle - terrain 2), the pitch pictured below.
  • ±2012 / First team football moves to the synthetic pitch on the other side of the clubhouse Unfortunately, the former main pitch has seen little activity since, with the odd youth match being played on it now and then (anyone able to provide the exact year of AS Snef-Tyber's first team moving to the 3G is more than welcome to contact me).
  • 2018 / In the winter of 2018-19, AS Snef-Tyber's original clubhouse (cp. picture 2 below) is knocked down. Waiting for the construction of its replacement, the club makes use of temporary facilities installed on the northern end of the 3G (cp. pictures 4-5 & 10-11 below).
  • 2019 / AS Snef-Tyber accedes promotion to Hainaut's Provincial League 1 for the first time in club history after winning the title in Provincial League 2C.
  • 2020 / In the best season in club history, AS Snef-Tyber finishes in 10th place in P1. Following the season, the club changes its name to become FC Snef - a near-copy of the original club name created in 1969.
  • 2021 / FC Snef's new clubhouse (cp. pictures 6-9 below) is finally inaugurated on November 25th, 2021.
  • 2022 / In its second P1 season, FC Snef finishes 14th, not enough to avoid relegation - along with RFC Houdinois, R Excelsior Biévène-Bever, and AS Morlanwelzienne.
  • 2023 / Finishing runners-up in P2C, 4 points behind champions FC Gerpinnes, FC Snef qualifies for the promotion play-offs, in which, however, it is eliminated in R1 by JST Roselies (2-3).
  • 2024 / Runners-up in P2C for the second time running, 5 points behind champions SC Montignies, FC Snef qualifies for the play-offs, defeating FC Enghiennois in R1 (3-3 & penalty shoot-out) and RUS Herseautoise in R2 (2-3); in the ensuing group stage, with Erpion-Les Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure and SB Stade Mouscronnois being the two other contenders, FC Snef and Stade Mouscron obtain the two promotion spots. As such, FC Snef manages a return to the top provincial division after an absence of two seasons.
