Belgium, province: Liège = Luik
10 X 2010 / R Ans FC - FC Barchon 4-1 / Liège, Provincial League 4B (= BE level 8)
Note 1: Ans Football Club, founded in 1925 (matricule 617), acquired the royal epithet in 1951. The club had its heyday in the 1940s to 1960s, playing twenty-two seasons of national league football between 1942 and 1967. At their ground at Rue Gilles Magnée, they were joined by RFC Liège as groundsharers between 2004 and 2008. In 2014, R Ans FC merged with R Racing FC Montegnée, becoming Racing Ans Montegnée FC. Since, first team football has taken place at Montegnée's Stade Joseph Vanstraelen, while the premises in Ans remained in use for lower team football and training purposes. Commencing in 2021, major renovations will be carried out in Ans, meaning that for about a year and a half, all football and training activities will take place in Montegnée.
