Note 1: Entente Sportive Villance, founded in 1971 (matricule 7582), moved to the ground situated at Rue de la Mambore in 1973. Before the start of the 2021-22 season, the club withdrew its first team, leaving the reserves' team as its only representatives in Belgian Luxembourg's football leagues.

Note 2: The game I attended in Villance was special for several reasons. First, like ES Villance, opposite team RCS Sugny do not participate in the provincial leagues with a regular first team, but with a reserves' squad only. Second, as RCS Sugny had just eight players, they were reinforced by home team players to make for a more even match. Lastly, as there was no referee available - not even an official taking his place -, the match was played based on 'fair-play'; thanks to excellent sportsmanship displayed on both sides, this worked out remarkably well.
