8 V 2022 / US Rumelange - FC Yellow Boys Weiler-la-Tour 1-3 / Promotion d'Honneur (= LUX level 2)
Note 1: Union Sportive Rumelange, founded in 1908, were one of the founding members of Luxembourg's national league system in 1909-10. In June 1934, the club moved to their current ground, Stade Op Kolscheid, in the newly built Municipal Park, constructed as an unemployment relief plan (1930-33). The ground's first clubhouse, now serving as a storage room (cp. pictures 20 & 26 below), was inaugurated in 1935, while the current main stand was added in 1969. US Rumelange had its heyday in the 1960s and 1970s, with three runner-up finishes in the Nationaldivisioun and two cup wins (1968, 1975). In recent years, the club has regularly won promotion to the highest level, only to fall back to the second tier or Promotion d'Honneur after one or two seasons.
