24 V 2018 / Entente Rechaintoise - RFC Liège B 3-1 / Liège, Provincial League 2 - promotion play-off (= BE level 7)

Timeline
  • 1942 / Foundation of Racing Club (RC) Grand-Rechaintois, which acquires matricule 3905 upon joining the Belgian Football Association.
  • 1956 / RC Grand-Rechaintois changes its name to become Entente Rechaintoise.
  • 1993 / Entente Rechaintoise obtains the royal epithet, thus officially becoming Royale Entente (RE or R Entente) Rechaintoise.
  • 2011 / With an advantage of just 1 point over AS Houtain, R Entente Rechaintoise wins the title in Liège’s Provincial League 3C, thus acceding to Provincial League 2.
  • 2012 / Finishing last in Provincial League 2B, R Entente Rechaintoise drops back into P3.
  • 2014 / Having narrowly stayed up in P3B the previous season, R Entente Rechaintoise now eases to the title in that division, building up a 9-point gap with closest followers R Standard FC Andrimont. Thus, the club returns to P2 after an absence of 2 seasons.
  • 2018 / R Entente Rechaintoise finishes runners-up in P2B, 5 points behind FC Trooz. Defeating RFC Liège B in the final of the promotion play-offs (cp. pictures below), the club wins a historic promotion to Provincial League 1; never before did R Entente Rechaintoise or its predecessor RC Grand-Rechaintois reach this level.
  • 2020 / In its best season ever (although cut short due to the COVID lockdown), R Entente Rechaintoise finishes in 8th place in Liège’s Provincial League 1.
  • 2022 / Finishing in 14th place in Provincial League 1, R Entente Rechaintoise tumbles back into P2 after 4 years, along with FC Pontisse Herstal, RFC Jehaytois, and KFC Weywertz.
  • 2023 / In its last season as an independent club, R Entente Rechaintoise finishes in 7th place in Provincial League 2B. The club concludes a merger with R Excelsior FC Lambermontois, thus forming R Entente Lambermont-Rechain, retaining Lambermont’s matricule 299; Rechaintoise’s matricule 3905 is erased from the Belgian FA’s official lists. With Terrain Les Tourelles being abandoned, all activities move to Lambermont’s Stade Léon Rodez.
