Rue de Spa, Francorchamps (FC Ster-Francorchamps - training ground, formerly Francorchamps FC / ES Francorchamps)
Belgium, province: Liège = Luik
May 2019 / no match visited
Note: Francorchamps FC, founded in 1941, merged with Ster FC (also from 1941) in 1945, forming Espoir Sportif Francorchamps. This club existed for ten years before folding in 1955, though possibly they continued playing in local amateur leagues not affiliated to the Belgian FA. In 1985, a new club saw the daylight: Etoile Spa Francorchamps, renamed Espoir Sportif Francorchamps in 1990. In 2007, ES Francorchamps merged with FC Ster in 2007, forming FC Ster-Francorchamps; since, first team football has taken place at Ster's Stade Maurice Sacré. These days, the ground in Francorchamps is in use for training purposes only.
