Note: K Kessel FC, founded in 1926 and members of Belgium's FA from the early 1940s onwards, moved into the ground at Pastoor Schelkensplein (later rename Herman Weltersstadion) in 1948. After having been forced into administration in 2014, K Kessel FC were replaced by a new club: VC Kessel, which after only one season merged with Zwart-Wit Eendracht Kessel (founded in 2011 as the successor of FC Excelsior Kessel), forming Kessel United; as ZWE Kessel were left without a ground, instead groundsharing with KFC Nijlen at Ophoven, all Kessel United football activities have since been centred at the former VC Kessel's ground.
