LUXEMBOURG: UN Käerjéng 97 (2011-)

Käerjenger Dribbel, Bascharage (UN Käerjéng 97)

Luxembourg, canton: Capellen

5 V 2019 / UN Käerjéng 97 - FC Atert Bissen 1-0 / Promotion d'Honneur (= LUX level 2)

Note 1: FC US Bascharage, founded in 1928 (and renamed FV Niederkerschen during German occupation in World War II), played their football at Centre Sportif André Siebenbour, of which the main pitch was located roughly where the current easternmost side-pitch of the Käerjenger Dribbel can be found nowadays. In 1997, US Bascharage merged with FC Jeunesse Hautcharage, forming UN Käerjéng 97; between 1997 and 2011, first team football was played at Hautcharage's Stade Um Bëchel. In 2011, the Käerjenger Dribbel ground was inaugurated, where UN Käerjéng have played since. Stade Um Bëchel was knocked down to make way for housing.
