Belgium, province: Liège = Luik
Note: Founded in 1972, CS Awirs, with their unusual ground up on a forested hillside, were a member of Association Liégeoise de Football Amateur (ALFA), an association of recreational teams in and around Liège which organises its own Saturday and Sunday leagues. CS Awirs ceased all activities in 2017 and for the following four years, the premises were left derelict. In the summer of 2021, a successor club saw the daylight, SC Awirs - and they took over CS Awirs' former ground as well. The settlement lasted for two years, as SC Awirs wound up in mid-2023, as owner Mike Lauers took over the other recreational club in the village, FC Awirs.
