Note: AVC Luctor et Emergo (Latin: "I struggle & I emerge") saw the daylight in 1931 as the revival club of an earlier club in Almelo called vv Luctor, which had ceased to exist in 1924. After having played their football at grounds called De Mooie Vrouw (1931-38) and Sluiskade (1938-95), AVC Luctor et Emergo settled down at Sportpark De Horst in the summer of 1995.
