Note: vv SVI (Sportvereniging Ittersum) are the football club of Ittersum, a hamlet on Zwolle's southern outskirts which was absorbed by the city in the 1960s. Founded in 1952, the club successively played at four different grounds (Zandhove 1952-56, Deventerweg 1956-59, IJsseldijk 1959-63, Van Houtenlaan 1963-74) before settling down at Sportpark De Siggels in 1974. The main pitch was adorned with an open terrace in 2004 (cp. photos 13-15 below). When the club wanted to install floodlights around this main pitch, local residents objected and initiated legal proceedings, which resulted in a court forbidding the club to implement their plans. Instead, the main pitch was moved to the other side of the drawing rooms. All of this must have occurred around 2012. In the summer of 2018, a 3G was installed on the new main pitch.
