Note: Founded in 1949, vv De Merino's were the sports club of Koninklijke Scheepjeswolfabriek D.S. van Schuppen, "Merino" being the name of a woollen fibre produced at the mill in the 1940s. From the foundation onwards, the club played at Sportpark De Pekken at Wageningselaan, on the eastern outskirts of Veenendaal. In 1984, as the ground had to make way for a retail park, vv De Merino's moved to the newly built Sportpark De Groene Velden I, also situated at Wageningselaan. After the factory from which the club originated closed down in 1987, vv De Merino's have continued their existence as an independent football club until the present day.
