Note: Rotterdamse Voetbal- & Atletiekvereniging 'Steeds Hooger', founded in 1907 as Excelsior but translating their name in Dutch soon after to avoid confusion with the current SBV Excelsior, originally played their football at Veemarkt - a square bombed out of existence by the Germans in May 1940. After changing grounds several times, the club settled down at Sportpark Kanaalweg in 1967. The club, who saw a rapid increase in membership in recent years, were allowed to use the side pitch of RVV Blijdorp's former ground, Sportpark Blijdorpse Polder, for training purposes. In the summer of 2022, RV&AV Steeds Hooger will move to Sportcomplex Erasmuspad, the former home ground of RKSV Leonidas. FC Banlieue, a recreational club, are moving in the opposite direction.
