Timeline
  • 1934 / Foundation of FC Schorisse. The club probably plays in the Flemish Catholic Football Association (Vlaams Katholiek Sportverbond) during the first ten years of its existence.
  • 1944 / FC Schorisse joins the Belgian Football Association, obtaining matricule 4121.
  • 1973 / After an existence in which the club always played at East Flanders' lowest provincial level (Provincial League 3 until 1969, Provincial League 4 in the four following seasons), FC Schorisse concludes a merger with SK Louise-Marie (matricule 4191), forming Sportvereniging (SV) Vlaamse Ardennen under Schorisse's matricule.
  • 1984 / SV Vlaamse Ardennen wins the league title in Provincial League 4E, gaining promotion to Provincial League 3, staying up for three seasons.
  • 1991 / SV Vlaamse Ardennen manages a new return in P3, but the spell lasts no longer than one season.
  • 1994 / SV Vlaamse Ardennen concludes a merger with KVV Etikhove, resulting in the foundation of KVV (Koninklijke Verenigde Vrienden) Vlaamse Ardennen (sometimes referred to abbreviatedly as KVVV Ardennen) under KVV Etikhove's matricule 3857. First team football moves to Etikhove's Complex Hollebeek, while the pitches in Schorisse remain in use for the new club's youth academy.
  • 2022 / After the demise of KSK Ronse (matricule 38), KVV Vlaamse Ardennen changes its name to become KSK (Koninklijke Sportkring) Vlaamse Ardennen, moving its first team football to Ronse's Orphale Cruckestadion. While the ground at Nederhollebeekstraat in Etikhove is abandoned, the new club holds on to the youth academy grounds in Schorisse for lower team football and training purposes.
