Timeline
  • 1913 / Foundation of Sportkijnclub Veurne.
  • 1919 / Sportkijnclub Veurne takes on the new name of Sportvereeniging (SV) Veurne.
  • 1926 / Belgium's Football Association introduces the matricule system; SV Veurne receives matricule 80.
  • 1939 / SV Veurne obtains the royal epithet, thus becoming KSV Veurne.
  • 1994 / KSV Veurne moves from its old ground at Ieperse Steenweg to the newly built Will Tura-Sportpark, a facility hosting various sports clubs - including MAC Westhoek, an athletics club.
  • 2013 / On the occasion of KSV Veurne's 100th anniversary, the football ground at Will Tura-Sportpark is renamed Maurits Kestelootstadion. Maurits Kesteloot, born in 1922, served the club as a volunteer for over 60 years.
  • 2022 / After a long absence from the highest provincial level, KSV Veurne wins promotion to West Flanders' Provincial League 1. Until now, the club has never managed to reach the national leagues, with P1 being the highest level attained.
  • 2023 / Finishing 14th, 3 points short of a secure place in the ranking, KSV Veurne drops out of P1 along with RC Lauwe and KSV Jabbeke.
