• 2005 / Inauguration of K Rupel-Boom FC's youth academy, Jeugdcomplex De Schomme, by Boom's mayor Patrick Marnef on November 25th, 2005. The two pitches at De Schomme are a welcome addition to the club's stadium, Gemeentelijk Parkstadion, and the pitch at the southern end of the same park, at Beukenlaan.
• 2021 / Inauguration of synthetic surfaces on both pitches at Jeugdcomplex De Schomme by Boom's mayor Jeroen Baert on September 24th, 2021.
