BELGIUM: ES Mariembourgeoise (1956-1992) / RES Couvin-Mariembourg (1992-2019, 2022-) / RES Couvin-Mariembourg-Fraire (2019-2020) / RES Couvin-Mariembourg-Fraire (B) (2020-2022)

Stade Roi Soleil, Mariembourg (RES Couvin-Mariembourg, formerly ES Mariembourgeoise & R Etoile Sportive Couvin-Mariembourg-Fraire)

Belgium, province: Namur = Namen

16 XI 2013 / RES Couvin-Mariembourg - RCS Onhaye 0-0 / National Division 4D (= BE level 4)

Note: ES Mariembourgeoise, founded in 1956, merged with RFC Avenir Couvinois in 1992, forming RES Couvin-Mariembourg. In 2019, the club absorbed JS Fraire, resulting in RES Couvin-Mariembourg-Fraire seeing the daylight. In 2021, this merger was disentangled, though the old name RES Couvin-Mariembourg will not be reinstated until mid-2022. In 2020, the decision was taken upon to move first team football from Stade Roi Soleil to Couvin's ground at Rue de la Foulerie - hitherto housing just the club's youth academy - due to problems with floodlighting in Mariembourg - except for a limited number of matches in the 2021/2022 season which will take place at the Stade Roi Soleil. In the 2021/2022 season, none of Couvin-Mariembourg's other football teams played their football in Mariembourg either. In 2022, first team football returned to Mariembourg.
