- 1963 / Foundation of a football club in Hensies, a village in Hainaut to the west of Mons, close to the French border. Acquiring membership of the Belgian Football Association with registration number 6700, the new club is given the name Union Sportive (US) Hensitoise. It is unclear if US Hensitoise played its football at Plaine Communale, Rue de Chièvres, from the outset.
- 1964 / US Hensitoise starts its life as a competitive club in the bottom division of Hainaut’s provincial league system at the time, Provincial League 3.
- 1975 / Runners-up in Hainaut’s Provincial League 3A, 5 points behind champions FC Basècles, US Hensitoise accedes to Provincial League 2 for the first time.
- 1979 / In the best season in club history, US Hensitoise manages a fourth place in Hainaut’s Provincial League 2A – a performance repeated in the following season.
- 1981 / Finishing bottom of the table in Hainaut’s Provincial League 2A, US Hensitoise drops back into Provincial League 3 along with the club in second-last place, SC Quevaucamps.
- 1986 / US Hensitoise finishes as runners-up in Hainaut’s Provincial League 3B, 10 points behind runaway champions DC Bernissartois.
- 1988 / Finishing bottom of the table in Hainaut’s Provincial League 3B, US Hensitoise descends into Hainaut’s Provincial League 4 for the first time, along with the club in second-last place, SC Petit-Dour.
- 1989 / Runners-up in Hainaut’s Provincial League 4D, 4 points behind champions SC Roisin, US Hensitoise goes on to win a set of play-offs, resulting in the club returning to Provincial League 3 after just one season.
- 2000 / In what ranks as the biggest success in club history, US Hensitoise wins Hainaut’s Provincial Cup, edging past RSB Frameries in the final, played at the latter club’s home ground, Pavillon de la Garde in Frameries (1-1 A.E.T. & penalty shoot-out).
- 2002 / Champions in Hainaut’s Provincial League 3B, with an equal number of points as runners-up US Thumaide, but with a slightly better goal difference (+62 vs. +58), US Hensitoise manages a return to Provincial League 2 after an absence of 21 years.
- 2006 / Finishing in second-last place in Hainaut’s Provincial League 2A, US Hensitoise descends into Provincial League 3, along with bottom club Association Montkainoise.
- 2008 / Finishing in fourth place in Hainaut’s Provincial League 3B, US Hensitoise goes on to win a set of play-offs, resulting in the club clinching promotion to Provincial League 2.
- 2009 / Finishing in second-last place in Hainaut’s Provincial League 2B, US Hensitoise drops back into Provincial League 3 after just one season, along with bottom club FC Chapelle-Godarfontaine.
- 2011 / Runners-up in Hainaut’s Provincial League 3B, 2 points behind champions AS Baisieux-Quiévrain 70, US Hensitoise qualifies for the promotion play-offs. Edging past RFC Chièvres 69 in R1 (3-2), the club is knocked out in R2 by RUSG Tertre-Hautrage B (2-0).
- 2015 / Finishing in second-last place in Hainaut’s Provincial League 3B, US Hensitoise is retrograded into Provincial League 4 along with RUS Beloeil B and bottom club RAS Honnelles.
- 2016 / Champions in Hainaut’s Provincial League 4D, 4 points ahead of closest rivals JSC Brugelette, US Hensitoise wins promotion to Provincial League 3.
- 2017 / Finishing in third-last place in Hainaut’s Provincial League 3B, US Hensitoise has to save its skin in a relegation play-off against RFC Labuissière. However, losing the encounter (0-1), the club descends into Provincial League 4 along with AS Baisieux-Quiévrain 70 and bottom club RSC Wasmes.
- 2018 / Champions in Hainaut’s Provincial League 4C, 9 points ahead of runners-up CDF Española, US Hensitoise wins promotion to Provincial League 3.
- 2020 / Acquiring the royal epithet, US Hensitoise officially changes its name to become Royale Union Sportive (RUS) Hensies.
- 2022 / Runaway champions in Hainaut’s Provincial League 3B, 12 points ahead of runners-up FC Harchies-Bernissart, RUS Hensies manages a return to Provincial League 2 after an absence of thirteen years at that level.
- 2025 / In March 2025, major reconstruction works get underway at RUS Hensies’ Plaine Communale, involving the construction of a new clubhouse and a rearrangement of the pitches on the park. The original clubhouse and the first pitch are given up, with first team football being temporarily moved to pitch II of the park.
