Timeline
- 1926 / Foundation of a football club in Moignelée, a village in the west of the Province of Namur. The new club, which is given the name Moignelée Sports, acquires number 708 upon the introduction of a register of registration numbers by the Belgian Football Association (URBSFA / KBVB) in December of that same year. It is unclear if Moignelée Sports played its football on the pitch at Chaussée de Charleroi from the outset.
- 1934 / Clinching the title in Namur's top provincial division, Moignelée Sports wins promotion to Promotion, the third and lowest level of Belgium's national league pyramid at that time, for the first and only time in its history.
- 1935 / Finishing bottom of the table in Promotion C, Moignelée Sports drops back into Namur's provincial leagues after just one season, along with CS Andennais and derby rivals US Auvelais.
- 1951 / Acquiring the royal epithet upon the club's 25th anniversary, Moignélee Sports officially adapts its name to become Royal Moignelée Sports, often abbreviated as RMS.
- 2000 / As R Entente Sambrevilloise from nearby Tamines folds, ceasing all activities, R Moignelée Sports moves its activities to that club's ground, the Stade Communal at Rue Saint-Martin, changing its name to become R Union Sambrevilloise. It is unclear if the club's original ground at Chaussée de Charleroi was abandoned straightaway or if it remained in use for some more years for lower team football and training sessions.
